Welcome to the website of the Chair of Software and Systems Engineering at the University of Cologne. The chair was founded on August 1, 2020 and is headed by Prof. Dr. Andreas Vogelsang. We will publish information about our research, teaching and projects here.

  Our most recent paper: "On the Forces of Driver Distraction: Explainable Predictions for the Visual Demand of In-Vehicle Touchscreen Interactions" was accepted for publication in Accident Analysis and Prevention. You can find the preprint here.

• RE4ES'22
  Mersedeh and our colleagues at the University of Berlin and Oldenburg are organizing the second edition of the Requirements Engineering for Explainable Systems (RE4ES'22) workshop at 15.08.2022 as part of RE'22 to gather and expand the explainable systems community. This year, in addition to the online participation, we are organizing a local hub in Oldenburg, Germany. (Please feel free to contact us if you are interested in participating in the workshop).
