Research student assistant
What we offer:
- A paid position as a student assistant (WHB if you already have a bachelor, or SHK else) with a flexible work load of 8 - 20 h per week.

What we expect from you:
- You have a background and interest in how to make software engineering better.
- You have some background in programming and are experienced with Java/Python or willing to learn these languages.
- You want to create, explore, and experiment with new ideas.
- You want to actively engage in a young research group.
Possible tasks within this position:
- You help do develop prototypes or projects.
- You contribute to current research via project work and/or theoretical work.
- You help to gather data and preprocess it.
- You help to evaluate results in a scientific way.
- You help writing scientific papers.
- You help to conduct scientific studies.
Teaching student assistant
What we offer:
- A paid position as a student assistant (WHB if you already have a bachelor, or SHK else) with a fixed weekly work load of 8h (one group per week) or 16h (two groups per week).
- Possibilities to improve your skills (presentation skills, contents of lecture, teaching skills,…).
- Working in a young, dynamic, and international team.
- Participatory Leadership: We work together to create the best working atmosphere for everyone.
What we expect from you:
- You have successfully participated in the lecture you want to help us in (Softwaretechnik, Requirements Engineering or ideally both).
- You enjoy discussing different approaches to a task, helping others to understand the lecture contents and transfering your knowledge to your students.
- You want to actively engage in the teaching activities as well as organization of the module.
Your tasks within this position:
- You lead one or two exercise groups weekly in the lecture period, 90 minutes each.
- You review the hand-ins of your students and take track of their gathered points.
- You discuss the solutions presented during the exercise sessions with your students, show them ways to improve their own solution and help them prepare for the exams and close knowledge gaps.
- You help to modify existing exercise assignments and create new ones as needed.
- You help to correct the exams in the lecture free period.
- You help in other organizational issues regarding the module.
PhD students (fulltime) and Post-Docs (fulltime)

Tasks within your position:
- Research and project work in your own field (e.g. your thesis topic) as well as in other topics within the research fields of the group.
- Assistance in teaching (4h per week) in the lectures, seminars and labs offered by the group.
- Organizational activities regarding the research group.
